Antoin Tux
🐧
Hello, I'm Antoin, Gini and Karl's dad. I've always loved working with my hands, whether it's building electronic projects, tending to my garden or fixing up old pocket watches. I also have a deep interest in history and a new curiosity about alternative medicine. Being outside in nature is one of my favorite ways to unwind and I enjoy learning new things along the way. Welcome to my page, where I share a bit about my passions and projects. I hope you find something interesting here!
🌱
🌱 gardening & nature
Spending time outdoors is one of my favorite pastimes. I find peace in working in the garden, planting new flowers and growing vegetables. It's incredibly rewarding to see something I've planted grow and thrive. I also enjoy hiking and spending time in the great outdoors. There's always something to learn from nature, whether it's the way plants grow or the wildlife I encounter. The garden is my little sanctuary where I can unwind and reconnect with the earth.
📜
📜 history
Local history has always fascinated me. I enjoy diving into the past and learning about different cultures, civilizations and historical events. Exploring the history of our own penguin community, I'm always eager to uncover new stories. Throughout the community I am known as the history guy. If you ever want to chat about an interesting local historical fact, I'm always up for a discussion!
🌿
🌿 alternative medicine
Lately, I've become more interested in alternative medicine. From herbal remedies to holistic healing practices, I'm fascinated by how nature can provide solutions to common health issues. I've started learning about various techniques and plants that promote wellness and help the body heal naturally. It's been an eye-opening experience and I'm excited to continue exploring different approaches to health and well-being that focus on the natural balance of the body. I love to read articles and watch videos that talk about methods and techniques they tried and that worked.
⏱
⏱ pocket watch repair
Another hobby of mine is repairing pocket watches. I've always had a fascination with these little mechanical marvels and there's something incredibly satisfying about bringing an old watch back to life. Whether it's fixing a broken gear or carefully cleaning the tiny components, I love the precision and craftsmanship involved. It's a delicate art that requires patience and attention to detail and every successful repair feels like I've unlocked a piece of history. Each watch has its own story and I enjoy preserving that story through my repairs.
💻
💻 coding
Like the rest of my family I love coding and have written a lot of big and small programs!
⚙
⚙ electronic projects
I also like working on electronic projects.
